A runner-up on Friday before a third on Saturday allowed Gravel and the Big Game Motorsports team to pad their lead with five races to go in 2024.<\/p>\n CLOSING THE GAP:<\/strong><\/p>\n Giovanni Scelzi (5th): After a rough visit to Pennsylvania, Giovanni Scelzi and KCP Racing rebounded with a solid Illinois weekend. Finishes of seventh and sixth chopped the gap between himself and Michael \u201cBuddy\u201d Kofoid for fourth from 102 points down to 82.<\/p>\n Sheldon Haudenschild (6th): Back-to-back top five finishes defined a strong trip to the \u201cLand of Lincoln\u201d for Sheldon Haudenschild.
